Over the next few weeks we will be telling you more about Laura and showing you some of her work.

Here is a brief history:

Laura was born in England in 1969. She has painted all her life but trained at Middlesex University where she gained an honours degree in Illustration. Even while at college Laura's illustrations were being published in books and scientific papers. Since then she has helped illustrate many books, usually about nature or for children. Although still an active illustrator she prefers painting oil on canvas and she hopes to find more time for this in the future.

We do not have a large enough scanner to capture her very fine oil paintings, we will attempt to photograph some of them soon and scan them up here for you. In the meantime we have scanned some of her smaller illustrations and shall add to these in the coming weeks. We have also included a photographic portrait of her to prove that she is quite a picture herself!
