The rider:

Glenn Le Santo is a freelance journalist and has been riding motorcycles on the road for twenty years. He once worked as a long distance courier so he is used to riding huge mileages in all weathers. He ownes a Yamaha YZF1000R Thunderace but has a soft spot for Harley Davidsons.

Glenn writes mainly for motorcycle magazines and  runs an Advanced Riding School for riders wishing to push their riding skills forward. Glenn lives in Lincolnshire, England with his partner Laura and his five children in a typical thirties built town house. Laura is an established illustrator and oil painter.

The Le Santo name is a Hugenot name originaly from Italy. It is believed that the Le Santo family were Hugenot Artisans who fled Italy to escape religious persecution in the 1600s. They travelled first to France before sailing for Cromwells England. It is though that the 'Le' comes from this spell in France and that another word, probably the name of a Saint once followed 'Santo'. To this day many members of the Le Santo family have strong artistic abilities, Glenn is an acomplished artist in Pen and Ink or Watercolour.

The oldest Le Santo is Glenn's Great Grandmother Mrs M Le Santo aged 92 years (below).

For the future Glenn is planning to do more long rides and to continue writing features for magazines. He hopes to eventually find the time to write a series of whodunnits and then retire early to write a 'heavy' novel. He is also keen to interview personalities both for print and on television.
